Role of national governments in forming tourism policy and promotion
NTO’s (National Tourism Organisations)

For the case of Mauritius, the NTO is the MTPA (Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority).
In the UK, the NTO is the British Tourist Authority, and its mission is increase the number of tourists arrivals in the Britain and thus generate additional revenue throughout Britain, throughout the year.
